About Sound Stool
Sound
and vibration seems to relax, stimulate and promote release of tensions in
the body.
The sound stool was designed to stimulate the physical body to a point of relaxation. The vibration of the stool stimulates muscle groups. In doing this muscle fiber can relax to the point assisting the nervous system to release nerve impingment.
Most of the body mass is connective tissue in one or more of various forms, fibrous, cartiladge, bone adipose, etc. The basic unit of these tissues are the fiber: protein secreted in filaments from cells. I is these collagen fibers that hold the body together in an integrated, “unibody” form of construction. In the skeletal system/ classification, axial and appendicular skeleton receives a stimulating vibration.
Stimulation of the torso, perineal muscles and the pelvis floor which address the urogenital triangle and the anal triangle. The torso muscles of the posterior abdominal wall, thoracic diaphragm and intercostals muscles. Also receives stimulation.
Deep
muscles of the back and neck have a chance to relax.
Muscular system/lower limb muscles of the gluteal region can relax assisting muscles of the posterior thigh to relax. Promoting flex, extension and rotation of joints, which is a sign of nerve relaxation.
Also in the seating position of user: the lower muscles of the medial thigh, posterior thigh and anterior thigh can receive stimulation.
Vibrational stimulation of sound can be expressed and related to the type of music selected. The sub-woofer as a wide range of frequency also the mid-range, tweeter and cross over.
There are 3 ports (1-5”) (1-3”) and (1-1”) depending on the music the ports act as need by speaker response
Area between base and sub-woofer and sub-woofer lid act as an air recoiling system for vibration to create n electromagnetic transducer radiates acoustic power into the air with essentially the same waveform as that of the electrical input. Although the ratio of the total useful sound radiated from the speakers at any frequency to the electrical power applied to the voice coils. This combination of one or more speakers and all associate baffles, horns and driving network used to couple the driving electrical circuit and acoustic medium together.
Creating
irregular reflection, refraction, or diffraction of a sound wave in many
directions, this device allows acoustic energy to be generated, manipulated,
and detected on the substrate surface. In the sitting position when
the user places the hands on the top of the knees, the vibration can be felt
from head to toe. This position facilitates full body stimulation. The
sound stool provides a wide range of vibrational waves of energy that
can be controlled by the user just by changing the music being sent to the
stool. This supersedes a mechanical device many times over.
The acoustic suspension of the sub-woofer cone is held by an over compliant suspension, the stiffness required for the proper operating being supplied by air that is trapped behind the cone in a semi-sealed enclosure. Semi-sealed, meaning at the base are three ports 5”, 3” and 1” to assist in the air movement of the mid-range speaker and tweeter frequencies into and mix with sub-woofer output frequencies by air movement.
